Gala Douglas [AA]

Gala grew up in what was a mixture of a cult and a slave camp. Pure blooded succubi were often caught, brainwashed and practically sold off to the most important/highest bidder. Which is what happened to Gala’s mom, Lilin. Lilin always had a happy face but Gala knew how unhappy she was. However, she was a good mom and tried her damndest to protect her kids, especially her girls. Out of Gala’s 7 siblings (not including gala) there were 2 girls, 3 total. Gaia, Gala and Sophie. Gaia was the oldest sibling by 10 minutes, followed immediately after by Gala (Twins). Sophie is the youngest at 2 years old. All of the middle children were boys, and were treated much differently than the girls. Gala was hidden away from the world by her mom with her sister the second her mom found her horns coming in. She was taught how to be submissive, motherly, and overall like a housewife. Her morals did not match those taught by those around her. She didn’t want to get married to someone she didn’t know, which was custom where she was from, she was also strongly against being seen as lesser than her supposed husband.  Gaia took it way better.

Which meant that when the twins turned 18, Gaia was practically sold off to some random noblemen, on the condition that Gala couldn’t get married until Gaia’s wedding was over. Gala protested her sister’s wedding heavily, which angered her father who ended up beating her relentlessly. The night before her wedding, Gaia pulled Gala into her room for a few reasons. 

1: Gaia had secured Gala a spot at an academy that would be able protect her

    Gaia had secretly been in contact with a woman named Evelyn and a man named Charon, both of whom worked at said school. Gaia told Gala she could trust them. 

2: Gaia wanted Gala to experience a world she never would be able to

    After Gaia was to be wed, she would most likely never see her family again, let alone hear from them, especially from Gala the resident trouble maker. Gala leaving and going to that academy would allow her to talk to her twin in secret. 

3: Gaia wanted Gala to be free and safe from the world they group up in, even if it meant sacrificing herself.

    Gaia knew being born first would put her in a tiny bit of power. Sacrificing herself by having a wedding which would allow Gala to escape was something she had been planning since she was 8.

And finally 

4: To say goodbye.

    Gaia held Gala tight and told her all of this, and the pair tearfully planned Gala’s escape. 

At the beginning of the ceremony, as Gaia was schmoozing with the crowds, Gala snuck out the back and straight to the meeting point. There, she met a man named James who used magic to teleport her straight to the academy where she met Evelyn and Charon in person. The pair got her settled and she's been at the academy ever since.

Unfortunately, her family found her and have been trying to get her to come back ever since. This includes Charles, her apparent fiance. Gala tries her best to ignore them, but she's absolutely terrified. She doesn’t trust most of the staff, as one of them had to have leaked her location. She is equally as scared to make friends or mention her situation, as she's afraid they’ll get involved.
